CORONAVIRUS UPDATE : COVID-19
Dear Parents and Players.
At this time the advice from Tennis Australia is that Gyms and Indoor sporting facilities (Including Indoor Tennis Courts) are to close their doors. Other businesses (including Outdoor Tennis Courts) may remain open if they comply with strict Social Distancing Guidelines (As difficult as that may be).
Until such time that we receive specific advice otherwise, our Tennis Center will remain open and all coaching and competitions will continue to go ahead as planned.
Players are reminded that if they are experiencing any symptoms relative to COVID-19 please do not attend the center under any circumstances.
Players are asked to please keep any bookings to a maximum of 4 persons per court, and that only people core to playing should attend tennis activities such as players, participants, coaches and operational personnel.
While on court please do not touch other members of your team or the opposition to celebrate winning a point or at the end of the game to shake hands. Touch racquets instead of the regular pre or post match handshakes. Please continue to wash your hands or use antibacterial hand sanitiser before and after your match.
Parents are asked that if they need to attend a coaching session, please keep a minimum of 1.5m away from other parents, and maintain the social distancing set out by the Australian Government. Coaching sessions may be modified by your coach to meet Tennis Australia Guidelines so please work with us in these difficult times to ensure we can continue to run your coaching sessions for as long as possible.
We highly recommend that every player brings a full drink bottle to avoid touching outside taps at the center.
We will update you as soon as we have further Information or if anything changes.
